Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day, is a traditional North American holiday. First celebrated in what would become Canada in the late 1500's, Thanksgiving was later also celebrated in what would become the United States in the early 1600's. Today, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States.

law138 asked: ""Big Break # / Weekend Warriors"....... contestants would be true amatures (no tour experience of any kind / or teaching pros), with handicaps ranging form maybe 5 to 15 or 10 to 20. They would play for prizes like cash, equipment, golf vacations, etc., etc..... To keep with the Big Break concept....a grand prize could be a round of golf at Augusta with Tiger Woods or a spot playing in the Pro-Am at Pebble Beach. I would watch it and play in it if I had the chance to. What do ya think? I already sent an e-mail to TGC about the idea."

x-15a2 replied: "I'd watch it. Not sure it's what the Big Break is all about, but it would be fun to watch."
Steve H replied: "Love the concept. I'd watch or play, if asked!"
BD24 replied: "great idea for sure... id love to be in that and/or watch it"
boeckers2 replied: "Wow, then I might get a chance to play too!"
Swingin' My Life Away! replied: "It sounds like a pretty good episode to watch. I'm not really into Big Break all that much, maybe just because of the last one with Trump. He is a douche bag. Anyways, I'd watch it. Hope it gets on TV. Good luck. Happy Holidays."
nilok24 replied: "You know that is a great idea, and one thing they should consider is maybe have player's from the states and canada just north america though. I would love to play and even though i probably could never play, i would certainly watch. And then i could say damn i could of even made that shot!"
jogando44 asked: "I would like any activity that a couple could do like anything from bowling to hiking to dancing. sothing that can be done on a spring break weekend. i live in boston and i feel like i have done everything there is to do so i want to know if anyone knows of anything that might be fun in march around spring break"

awommack replied: "park"
Madalywin replied: "well i'm asuming you have food, so have a picnic at a park!"
pugs5678 replied: "sometimes you guys need to use your own heads park walk backyard"
tookoolfool replied: "if you already have the food pack a picnic and go to a lake and swim or a pretty park and bring some games or a kite or what ever you got for the kid to play with. later on at night you can make a fort in the living room and watch movies together. Or check you local paper and see if any thing free is going on in your community. honestly your kid is still young enough that if you guys wet some dirt in the back yard and made mud and played around in it he will be having the time of his life. especially if you both get muddy with him then you can make mud pies and have a mud fight...then hose each other off. make cookies together. or you can make a mix of dish soap and water and use string or bend hangers to make bubbles.you don't have to have money to have fun you just gotta use your imagination! Good luck!"
barryoffshore replied: "Camp in the living room - play at the park - go fly a kite - spending family time doesn't cost a thing..."
Tanja asked: "eat oatmeal with yogurt in the morning, drink water, bike 20 min to school bus,5 or 10 min break eat lunch or snack. 11:20 am break, run around field until 11 45 class starts again. eat snack again in another 5 min or 10 min break. after school, walk to school bus, bike 20 min home. eat dinner around 7, after an hr run. Thursday is a break. Weekend exercise 2 hrs. How intense should it be? I wonder if i will even have time to do that much exercise everyday but i want it done. If I made it really intense does that mean I could cut down on it? Usually when I work out, the next day its not even soar or anything, only when i weight train."

cbella76 replied: "try this free site for loads of tips on losing weight and exercises"
Judy B replied: "You didn't post what food you are eating for lunch, snack and dinner so can't comment on the diet. Sounds like exercise may be excessive -- over 2hrs per day? Consider joining your local Y or community centre for balanced exercise classes and to learn about safe exercise."
Morris P replied: "Since I started to work out I was looking for a good weight loss product. I was on a diet but I felt that I needed a little "help" so I decided to try this great product and I had fantastic results. You can check their website at , they give you a free trial and you only pay 5.49$ shipping and handling."

This weekend former WWE champion (yes, professional wrestling) Brock Lesnar will take on one of the very best the UFC has to offer, former UFC heavyweight champion, Frank Mir.
